As a photographer, speed matters most when you deliver your pictures.

Especially on slow 3G connections, uploading your pictures to all your clients, one after another, can take a tremendous amount of time.

By using the FTP Accelerator Server, you need to upload each picture only once, no matter how many clients you want to serve. The FTP Accelerator Server automatically distributes your pictures to your clients, saving you time and bandwidth.

How does it work?

From a user’s perspective the FTP Accelerator Server works like any other FTP server that you know. You can upload pictures, download pictures, create and delete folders, and so on.

Only that within each folder in your directory, you can place an XML file containing a list of your clients’ FTP servers, to which your pictures should be forwarded.

The FTP Accelerator watches these folders. Each time, you upload a new picture to one of the folders, it will immediatly be forwarded to the FTP servers specified in the list.

In case the forwarding fails, maybe because the client’s server is offline, you will be informed automatically via email.
